“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them,” – Albert Einstein.
This Sunday, join Dr. Phil Knight, Gerry Brisson, President & CEO of Gleaners Community Food Bank, and Amanda Sweetman, Regional Director of Farming and Healthy Lifestyles at Trinity Michigan for Food First Michigan! Amanda has worked as a scientist, farmer, educator, chef, and community builder. She discusses the work being done through St. Joe’s hospital-based farms as they work to grow healthy communities through food, education, and relationships. Through their various programs for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, they are empowering people on their path to better health. Phil, Gerry, and Amanda explore the close relationship between food security and health, and the work being done to alleviate hunger for patients at St. Joe’s. Learn more at stjoeshealth.org and follow their work on Facebook and Instagram.
